Materials List

4.5 Inch Doll
· Punch Thread, Size 12 Perle Cotton, or size 30 Crochet Thread* in Flesh, Pumpkin, Aqua, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Light Purple or colors of choice
· Size 12
· 2mm black beads or eyes for doll
· 3 or 4mm black or colored eyes, preferably flat-backed, for fish
· Metallic Thread, such as Coats &Clarks Glitz, Copper (optional)
· Nylon thread, black & clear or white
· 12-inch Chenille Stem
· Red Embroidery Floss
· Fingernail Jewels, Glue-On for earrings

7 Inch Doll
· Size 10 Crochet Thread* in colors of choice for skin, hair, mermaid tail, top; and 3 colors for fish
· Size 7 hook
· 3mm eyes for doll
· 5mm eyes for fish
· Metallic Thread, such as Coats &Clarks Glitz, Copper (optional)
· Black nylon thread
· Red Embroidery Floss
· Two 12-inch Chenille Stems
· Fingernail Jewels, Glue-On for earrings

Less than 1 ball of each color of thread is required.

Tools and Supplies needed for both:

· Hemostat or other stuffing tool
· Beading Needle, 2.5 inch Milliner’s Needle, Small tapestry needle
· Pink water color pencil for shading cheeks (or makeup blusher)
· Black micro-tip marker
· Fray stop
· Stuffing

Gage: Gage is not important as long as the same size thread and hook are used for all the pattern pieces. However, since tension can vary in different circumstances, it is suggested that when making two pieces that must be the same, such as arms and legs, that you complete both in one sitting. The same weight yarn and hook size should be used for all pieces unless otherwise indicated.
