Style : Mantra Long Jacket

Description - A jacket of rayon bouclé and bamboo yarn that drapes flatteringly on the body with slimming sheer stripes of rayon only, a rolled shawl collar and stick closure. This jacket is knit sideways in four pieces from center to cuff using one strand of rayon and one of bamboo yarn together in the A-slot on a Bulky (or mid-gauge) machine. Variations can be made by combining similar shades for a solid look or contrasting colors for a random tweed. The one shown above was knit in China Red Bambu 7 and Cherry Skinny Majesty then overdyed on the lapels and cuffs after knitting to create an ombré effect before joining the pieces.
