This baby hat is a quick and easy knit. It may look complicated with its lace-style pattern, but truly it is suitable for intermediate beginners.

The picot edge brim is achieved by knitting a simple turning row, folding the brim over, and tacking the cast-on row to the inside of the brim. The lace pattern gives the brim a natural scallop shape, resembling a tulip.

I knit this hat using Knit One Crochet Too Babyboo, but the pattern is flexible for most sport or worsted weight yarns. Just adjust needle size to get the proper gage.
