This classic scarf was inspired by the traditional stripe patterns found in our Swans Island blankets. A simple linen stitch is used throughout to impart a woven look to the face of the fabric. The backside of this fabric has an equally interesting texture that looks like seed stitch, so there really is no “right” or “wrong” side. Any combination of Swans Island naturally dyed yarns will look great. Combine one neutral color with one saturated color for an endless number of lovely combinations. Of course, this classic stripe works great for women too!
