Crisp lines and small, delicate motifs come together to create the Marna Pullover, inspired by the beauty of the Faroe Islands. With simple raglan shaping, a folded hem, and a wide scoop neck, this is a classic pullover that is as comfortable as it is elegant. The small and intricate floral patterning featured throughout the body of the sweater continues onto the sleeves in reversed coloring, Worked in the round from the bottom up, both the sleeves and body start with a hem facing and are then joined at the underarm and decreased together to the scoop neckline. A steek is cast on across the neckline so that the sweater can be worked in the round all the way through the end. The Marna Pullover is finished by sewing and cutting the steek and then, picking up stitches and knitting on a simple band of ribbing for the collar. Raglan shaping gives this pullover an easy and comfortable fit, while the delicate floral motif adds an air of elegance.

Notions: yarn needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, crochet hook for provisional CO, and a sewing needle and thread for the steek.
