For this pattern I used:

YARN
One 100g ball each of Big Brit Superchunky in shade A, shade B and shade C.
Big Brit Superchunky (100% Pure British Wool, 100g/67m/74yds) This yarn is only available in the Purl &Jane Skipton Studio & not on my website at the moment.
I used shade Natural Light Tweed for shade A, shade Natural Dark Tweed for shade B and shade Yellow Orchid as shade C.

METRES/YARDAGE
For each shade: 67m/74yds.
Total approx. 190m/208yds to 200m/219yds

HOOK
7mm.

TENSION/GAUGE
12 double crochet (and chain space) and 11 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 7mm hook.

MEASUREMENTS
26cm x 40cm.

MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
I love simplicity and I love the fact that one simple stitch can create an unique look. The stitch I have used is the double crochet. So this simple bag looks more complicated than it is! It uses just double crochet and chain stitches with striping. Simples!
