Kristi Porter’s new book, More Knitting In the Sun (32 Patterns To Knit For Kids), is filled with whimsical, delightful projects for childrens’ knits. And I don’t say that because one of my designs was chosen for inclusion.

This project is a sleeveless tunic with flared side panels and includes a “sweatshirt” style pocket for collecting treasures. It can be worn over jeans or leggings, or if made a bit longer can be worn as a dress or jumper over a teeshirt.
