Some good friends of mine have two darling twin daughters, who like to dress in a similar fashion but not necessarily the same. Thus I wanted to design two scarves that were similar, but not exactly mirror images of each other.

While designed with a child in mind, this scarf could easily be adapted to an adult-sized piece by using larger (for example, worsted weight) yarn and larger needles; or stick with the sock weight and just make it longer.

When I wrote this pattern in 2008, it was written only; recently I have updated this pattern to include a chart and to make it available on Ravelry.
