Mayapple is knitted in a blend of bamboo and microdenier acrylic, making it cool and lightweight -- perfect for spring and summer wear. It’s knitted mainly in seed stitch, with stockinette stitch sleeves and ribbed borders. It fastens with convenient ties (no buttons to sew!), or you can leave it open for a casual, laid-back look. Machine washable means easy care, and almost no seaming means easy knitting! You can wear this versatile garment over dresses or tops, but wherever you wear it, you’re sure to get compliments.

Note on the gauge: I used size 6 needles, but on the seed stitch, I purposely knitted more loosely than usual. You may need to use a larger needle size on the seed stitch to achieve the same gauge.
