from Knitter’s Stash:

Donna Kay’s simply elegant shawl pattern, Meadow Flowers, was first used in a class she taught last year at The Elegant Ewe. Students used many different fibers -- Shetland jumper weight, alpaca, homespun -- each different, each stunning. You can knit the shawl as small or as large as you like, and because of the garter-stitch structure, it is reversible. The top edge can be folded back like a collar.
