Ruffles adorn both the yoke of the dress and the crown of the hat in Meadowlark, and they send the cute factor off the charts! Both items, knit in Valley Yarns Conway, have a simple stockinette base, knit in the round from the bottom up. The hat is knit seamlessly, and the dress body is knit in one piece with the sleeves seamed in during finishing. The tiny ruffles are knit from stitches picked up from the base garments, adding whimsy and interest both as you knit and once your favorite little one is wearing them. To complete a layette set, check out the Meadowlark Blanket!
