The comfiest, goes-with-everything, everyday sweater that you will knit again and again for every baby, kid and teenager (yes, teenager!) in your life.
My inspiration for this design is a cozy Sunday morning, with rays of soft sunlight streaming through the window, a comforting breakfast waiting on the kitchen table and a whole day ahead of you.

With its extended sizing (12 baby/child/teen sizes are included!), this pattern is full of tips, crystal-clear techniques and links to helpful video tutorials to achieve a truly well-finished project. And did I mention the 12 sizes?

Use a soft, springy yarn for maximum comfort, or something more rustic for a traditional look -- or experiment with a tonal or tweedy yarn -- the possibilities are endless.
The design is simplicity itself, with its understated textured front yoke, no-fuss crew neck and ribbed hem and cuffs. For a particularly pleasing fit at the neck, go ahead and work the optional short rows - since they are worked at the bottom of the yoke you can try on the sweater just before separating the sleeves from the body and decide what you prefer!

~~

PATTERN NOTES:

This sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down, starting with the ribbed neckline. The body features an easy textured stitch pattern on the front yoke. A few optional short rows (explained in detail with a link to a video tutorial) can be worked after the yoke increases are finished to raise the Back neck. The sleeves are then separated from the body at underarm level and worked in the round.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, binding off.
