The cowl is seamless and worked bottom up in one piece, first it’s worked flat and then in the round. There is a detailed tutorial with pictures for modified i-cord cast-on that continues on edges of the cowl.

Sizes:
• S (head circumference 46 - 48 cm);
• М (head circumference 50-54 cm);
• L (head circumference 56-60 cm).
Materials:
• US6 (4.0 mm), US8 (5.0 mm) circular needles;
• stitch markers;
• 2 US8 (5.0 mm) double pointed needles;
• a blunt tapestry needle;
• blocking pins;
• waste yarn.
Yarn:
1/2/2 skeins of Drops Air, (70% Alpaca, 23% Polyamide, 7% Wool, 50 g (1.8 oz)/150 m (164 yds)). If you are going to substitute yarn, choose airy and fluffy types of yarn, or springy (like merino wool), sturdy and firm types of yarn are not suitable for this project.
Gauge:
17 sts х 27 rows = 10 х 10 cm using US8 (5.0) needles in stockinette st after blocking.
