Mesa Verde has been on my bucket list for a long time. As a history major in college, I’ve always been fascinated by Native American history and the cliff dwellings are just so amazing, I’ve always wanted to see them in person.

For this hat, I knew I needed to create a color that captured that peachy-tan shade of the canyon walls in which the cliff dwellings are built. Surrounded by desert shrubs and sagebrush, I wanted to be sure to incorporate all of these elements into the yarn as well.

The design features a textured pistachio stitch which creates a unique but beautiful and thick fabric using a sport weight yarn. I hope you enjoy this fun and relaxing knit!

Written for two sizes (Largest size is shown), you can easily make this hat for anyone in the family! Happy knitting!
