Mettle meaning in the position of being incited to do one’s best, as is the performance of elite athletes.

The design was inspired by the path that athletes take in their quest to be the best that they can be. While the road is not always smooth and the path not always straight, they continue to show their Mettle in the pursuit of their dreams.

Mettle is a cable knit scarf worked back and forth across the width.

400m/430 yards will yield a scarf approximately 155cm/60 inches long and 20cm/8 inches wide at gauge

Gauge is not critical for the scarf but any change in gauge will affect yarn requirements
