This scarf uses 4 skeins of Noro Kureyon, but if you prefer a longer scarf you can use 5.

The ridges are very pronounced and give structure to the fabric, so you can wear the scarf with a single wrap around your neck and it will sit up like a collar instead of bunching up.

If you want to substitute a different yarn, it’s best to stick to pure wool (the springier the better) and use a needle size 1 - 1.5mm smaller than recommended on the ball band.

Do not stretch when blocked or washed or you will relax the ridges.

NOTE: store this folded (rather than hanging up) to retain the ridges. If you hang it up they will stretch and become less pronounced but they do come back with washing.
