Most common comment about the pattern:

I LOVE this cowl! It is very easy yet looks so complicated.

Designed originally for Aran weight - but can also be knitted in DK or Worsted.

For the large single loop allow at least 160m (175 yds)
For a double loop allow at least 320m (350 yds)

With logical shifts and a special technique for making the bundles this is a really quick knit, but looks more complicated. It’s also quite addictive - you just want to do another row and another and another (and in about 4 hours it’s done !)

You can knit from a chart or the written instructions, whichever you prefer.

I loved everything about this - loved knitting it, loved the texture and especially loved the fact that the minute I got it finished DD grabbed it and has been wearing it ever since.

The cowl is based on the Wheat Sheaves stitch from the Barbara Walker treasury, but has been charted and adapted for working in the round; the increases have also been modified so they are mirrored.
