This pattern has been tech-edited and test knit.

Worked in the round, the mitts begin (and end) with ribbing at the cuff, worked in one needle size smaller than the body. That will keep them hugging your arm, wrist and fingers with just the right amount of “snug”. And then… a simple cable pattern flows right out of the ribbing. Repeated a few times, the charted pattern will keep the knitter interested and give the wearer a beautifully cabled knit mitt. You’ll work a thumb gusset and finish the thumb in the round.
