Milo is a moody guy. However, he is still very easy to get along with.

Milo’s pattern includes two different ways to make him. Yes. Two. In one pattern. :)

For the beginner version, all of Milo’s pieces are knitted flat and then seamed upon completion. All that is required is a basic cast on and cast off (your choice of methods), knit, purl, and simple increases and decreases. You also need to know how to seam and you can use your favorite method to do it.

For the intermediate version, you can knit Milo’s pieces in the round. This version includes the needed stitches for the beginner’s version, but also asks you to do the kitchener stitch (or not), and a Turkish cast on or Judy’s Magic cast on.

You can choose which pieces to knit from each pattern level, as they are written out side by side on the pattern pages. Want to knit his body in the round, but everything else flat? You can!

Knitted in worsted weight yarn on size US 6 (4.0mm) needles, Milo’s body is about 15” from his bottom to the top of his ear, and he’s about 8” wide. His arms (including hands) are 9” long, and his legs (including feet) are 12” long.

The purchase of this pattern entitles you to make as many Milos for personal use as you’d like. Please do not reproduce and/or give out the pattern, or sell your finished products.
