Miss Isabel is a 5ply/sport weight tunic sweater for girls.

Miss Isabel has you cast on at the neckline, and work flat forming a rounded garter neck line.
You will continue working the chest (with lace detail) and upper sleeves in one piece until you reach a specified stitch count. From here the arm stitches are put on to waste yarn, and the body (continuing with lace detail) finished in the round, with gentle a-line shaping. The body is knit to long sweater length, or short tunic length.
Once the body is completed, the sleeve stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round.
There are very regular stitch counts throughout the pattern to help guide you along the way.

All lace work is written out line by line - so perfect for those not confident with charted lace!

SKILLS REQUIRED
backwards loop cast on (under arms)
knitting small circumferences in the round (sleeves)
long tail cast on (neckline)
working top down raglan construction

If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.

Please Note: The sizes within the pattern are broken up into separate documents - so you only need to print what size you are knitting
