Inspired by one of my foster dogs’ messy head and ears, this pattern contains texture (knit and purl stitches), easy lace as well as cables.

With both charted and written instructions, the pattern has you covered.

The stretch of the lace pretty much cancels out the stiffer cables, so finished dimensions are similar to those of a plain knit sock. Very lightly stretched, dimensions are close to the following:
Small (62 stitch) size: approximately 7.5” (19cm).
Medium (68 stitch) size: approximately 8” (20.5cm).
Large (74 stitch) size: approximately 8.75” (22.5cm).

The sock length is easily customizable to your needs.

Yuka came to me through Gerdy’s Rescues & Adoptions, an organization that has made such a difference in my life in so many immeasurable ways. Please consider fostering animals for a group in your area - if you find one as great as Gerdy’s, you won’t regret it and will be forever changed. Dogs teach me to be a better human, every day.

Yuka passed away on January 28, 2020. In her honour, all pattern sales from January 28th through February 4 were donated to Gerdy’s, for a total amount of $37.12 (converted to $49.31 in Canadian dollars). Thank you so very much to each and every one of you!
