This simple garter triangle is knit on the bias with a pretty leaf lace inset along one edge. It was designed to show off the specially dyed 80/20 merino silk fingering that was a collaboration between Backyard Fiberworks and Duck Duck Wool for the 2017 Indie Untangled pre-Rhinebeck event. That colorway was a very limited edition and sold out at Indie Untangled, but both dyers use the same base (linked above), and it would be beautiful in any semi-solid or speckled colorway.

It’s an adaptable pattern that can be knit in any weight and with any yardage by working a different number of repeats (size may vary of course!) The lace repeat is easy to memorize and the shaping is simple. Enjoy watching your own colorful leaves take shape with this relaxing knit!
