A maddy laine knitting pattern for a men’s jacket cardigan to knit in a worsted weight yarn. The garment is knit to a smaller gauge than usually required for a worsted weight yarn in order to create a firm knitted fabric, which makes this design suitable as outdoor wear.

Stitch patterns of mock cable and slip stitch rib create subtle texture with vertical knit-in pockets and a stand up collar. Choose a subtle shade of color in the yarn and the stitch pattern texture will shine.

The pattern is available to knit in one of FIVE sizes in a worsted weight yarn.

The knitting pattern, written in both US and metric measurements, includes a schematic drawing.
