This is a simple riff on a garter stitch scarf.

Unlike many, because I’m self taught, my first project wasn’t a garter stitch scarf. Now, with a little more knitting under my belt, I find myself really interested in the simplicity of garter stitch and how to design with it.

I call it the “Mock T” because if worn with the plain selvedge next to the face the scarf looks more like a turtleneck collar!

2 skeins of the MC and 1 skein of the CC at this gauge yields a finished size of 76” x 5”.

NOTE: As a new designer I struggle to get feedback and more than anything what I desire is conversation about my designs. What appealed to you about this one? What made you click on it? Download it? What are you interested in and how can I as a designer be responsive to your needs and wants? Any feedback you can provide will be most appreciated! Hit me up and happy knitting!
