English

Starting with a provisional cast on this hat gets knit bottom up in the round. The brim has a ribbing structure where you see it and stockinette where you don’t see it. That way, the double brim doesn’t get super thick and looks good folded up. The fisherman’s rib makes this hat super squishy and warm.

This pattern uses the magic loop technique. To work this pattern using the magic loop technique, use a circular needle with a cable length of at least at least 80 cm / 32”.

GAUGE
23 sts x 60 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” (worked in the round, in Fisherman’s Rib stitch, after blocking)
