I am Maren, a former Senior Art Director turned Knitwear Designer. 
 
I founded Knitterista for modern makers who love minimalistic but not basic designs; are eager to learn all the details to finish up perfectly; and enjoy a fun experience with a good laugh on the way.

My obsession is teaching you how to create bespoke accessories or in other words: 
How to knit a shawl that won’t slip off your shoulders; a cowl that will stay up to keep you warm; and a hat that fits snugly on your head.

I believe that size inclusivity is not only important for garments but also for accessories; that a beautiful layout and clear written instructions will help you to focus on your knitting; and that sport is way overrated compared to upcycling.
