Summer time is for easy dressing. This top is a bit more versatile than that since it can be used as a layering item over a long armed T-shirt for colder days too, or it can be worn as a dress if one makes it a bit longer. Originally designed for a linen yarn, it works well in wool too. A bit of drape is all that is required of the yarn.
Two versions of Moineau are shown in the pictures, the light natural ones with purple and green stripes are knitted in linen and have a slightly different front from back. The one in red and natural colour is knitted in wool with the same front as back so that it can be worn either way.
