This is a wonderful, beaded, lightweight cowl. The beading and lace give it a decidedly feminine flair. I decided to use Malabrigo Sock, a bouncy merino fingering yarn, in this case my yarn was hand dyed by my lovely friend, Molly.

The cowl is big enough to wrap twice around your neck, if you need extra warmth. You can also knit this without beads, just knitting the stitch instead. Easy!

The lace is not too complicated. A good way to begin, if you haven’t tried lace.
