requests from friends are sometimes irresistible… I was asked to design a comfortable pair of fingerless mittens and I had the perfect yarn for it. Sat in the garden one day the design came to my head and the needles started doing it’s magic. The end result - an elegant design which looks more complicated than it really is.

Thank you for your support!

When nature is your inspiration even a humble twig covered in moss can lend its hand to become an elegant mitten pattern. The colour of yarn couldn’t be more perfect for this design. It’s so very satisfying when everything comes together and brings joy. Don’t you think?

And now you can knit a matching hat too.
