Moss the Sheep
MOSS THE SHEEP TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
These sheep are knitted using moss stitch, and they make super toys, or pop them on your bookshelf to bring some woolly cheer to your home. This knitting pattern includes instructions to knit the large and small Moss the Sheep.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the two sheep, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 4 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 4mm knitting needles (US 6)
- Aran yarns (worsted weight) in brown and cream; less than 50g in each colour
- Toy filling
- Beads for eyes (or you could use buttons or yarn or toy safety eyes)
