Clocking in at over 6 feet long, this cozy alpaca blend scarf is perfect for the person in your life who needs a very long, very dapper scarf! Mt. William is worked in the round so that the elegant colorwork pattern is shown on both sides, and is finished with a luxurious fringe.

Two length options are offered – the “Shorter version” uses 1 full skein of MC (green), whereas the “Full Length version” will use approximately 1.4 skeins of MC and about 2/3 of the skein of CC (grey).

Recommend using two-handed Fair Isle method of colorwork knitting, wrapping every other stitch to avoid long floats. While the floats will be on the inside, they can create tension that may affect the look of the fabric.
