Mrs Bakery Bear has finally been let out of the Bakery !! This listing is for a 14 page pattern, with over 30 step-by-step photographs to help you along the way.

The body pieces are knit in the round using the Magic Loop method, and then seamed together. The clothes are knit flat and seamed.

She has no complex stitches, but as there is quite a bit of seaming I would say this project is suitable for an intermediate knitter.

Materials needed

  • Worsted weight yarn - approx 120 yards
  • Dk weight cotton/cotton blend yarn in 3 different colours
  • 3.25mm needles to knit Magic Loop
  • 3mm needles - straight or circular
  • Toy stuffing
  • 2 x 6mm black beads for the eyes
  • Beading needle
  • Strong black and white sewing thread
  • Tapestry needle for seaming
  • 3 small buttons
  • Scraps of brown or black 4 ply cotton for embroidering the nose

These bears have been an important part of my life for the past few years, and I really hope you enjoy knitting your own.
Thank you !
Kay

P.S - Mr Bakery Bear is still in the kitchen baking away, and hopes to join his wife in the near future.
