In case anyone needs more clarification on the pattern, there’s an additional blog post I made here. This is a pattern that starts in the round and ends flat.

I’ve seen a LOT of sock/moccasin/slipper patterns in the last few days as it was one of the best ideas I saw to do for a fundraiser for Relay for Life.

I couldn’t get permission to use any of them to sell, so I decided to come up with my own.

So far so good, and it doesn’t bear much resemblance to any other pattern. Why? One word: frills.

All of the patterns seemed to be about the fanciness. Magic ring. SC trim. Pompoms. Fancy heel turns. Flippy things. Tassels. Ick!

You know what that means? More dang knots.

Not good for people who may be going through chemo - their skin in so sensitive! And I’m trying to make all of the projects for the Relay be chemo-friendly.

So here’s my version – simple, comfy – and I’m going to make myself a pair after this sale is over!
