Double-layered potholder; the windows are small openings to the back and don’t require using more than one color per row.

Finished size is about 8 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall, which is roughly the size of the gnome pattern also included in this download.

Skills required: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, double crochet, embroidery stitches of your choice.

Potholder is worked flat in rows.

Requires 1 ball white for stem and back, about 1/2 ball red for mushroom cap, and scraps of other cotton yarn or floss for optional embroidery.
