My Sweet Dinghy mittens are a really cute knit and a great way to use up the leftover worsted weight yarn hiding in your stash. These mittens are a little more challenging than the first mitten in this collection, the Full Sail Mittens. At some points you need to use three colors in a single row. These mittens are a great way to become really comfortable with colorwork knitting and could be a great intermediate project. The My Sweet Dinghy mittens feature an afterthought thumb so the colorwork pattern has limited interruptions.

Gauge:
20 sts x 20 rows = 4 in x 4 in in stockinet stitch
24 sts x 24 sts = 4 in x 4 in in color work pattern

Note: The gauge was measured after light blocking.

Yarn:
The samples are knit with Cascade 220 (100% wool). I used 100 yards of the main color (white), 25 yards of contrast color 1 (dark blue), and 45 yards of contrast color 2 (light blue).

The My Sweet Dinghy Mittens are part of a three mitten collection, the Full Sail Mittens and Halyard Mittens. Like My Sweet Dinghy, the other two are colorwork mittens but are slightly more challenging.
