We are excited to announce another year long Mystery Knit Afghan. Upon purchase of this Mystery Knit, you will receive all 8 clues throughout the year on the specified dates. Each clue will be unique and full of cable knitting! I guarantee that you will not get bored knitting this afghan and will be amazed how quickly this afghan flies off your needles! PLUS, this afghan is completely seamless! You don’t have to seam any of the sections together when you are complete.

This year, there will also be NO picking up stitches. This afghan will be knit from the bottom to the top.

Also, the best part about the MKAL, is that you get to knit with knitters from all around the world. You can show off your afghan and see many other amazing afghans!

Upon purchase before January 15th, you will receive an information file with all the information you need to get ready to starting knitting on January 15th.

Yarn: Knit Picks Swish Worsted Weight Yarn

The yarn I chose again this year is Knit Picks Swish worsted weight yarn. It is a beautiful, soft wool yarn that comes in many colours. This Afghan will be beautiful in multi colours as well as one solid colour.

If you are unsure what to use, have designed colour pallets that you are welcome to use. There is also a template for you to use if you want to design your own afghan colour scheme. Mystery Knit Afghan 2024 Blog

Standard: 48” (122 cm) x 60” (153 cm)
Bonus: 60” (153 cm) x 72” (183 cm)
Lap: 36” (91 cm) x 48” (122 cm)
