Pattern is written for knitters who are already familiar with knit-on borders.

Rectangular shape shawl knit in Shetland style. Modified Shetland construction, with the body of the shawl knitted first from the bottom-up, followed by a knit-on insertion and edge. Shawl is knit in garter stitch worked by knitting every row – no purl rows. Odd numbered rows work the pattern, even number rows are “rest” row - all stitches are knit.

Basic stitches: Knit, K2Tog, Yo, Ssk and K3Tbl.

Recommended Yarn: 2-balls Cascade Yarns Forest Hills, 51% Silk / 49% Merino Wool.
