Narzisse

In Filigrane Spitzendecken, instructions on back of chart sheet, chart Fig. 18, photo bottom of page 3.

Original instructions call for “10 grams Häkelgarn Nr. 150 und feinen Stahlnadeln” (size 150 crochet thread and fine steel knitting needles) for a finished size of 20 cm.

Cast on 8 stitches and follow the chart.

All rounds are not mentioned knit rounds.

Through round 13, repeat the chart 8 times in the round.

Repeat the chart 10 times for Rounds 17 to 25.

Then from Round 29 on, repeat the chart 8 times.

After the 80th round the stitches are cast off individually, without intervening stitches.

In round 8, increase by purling & knitting into the same stitch.
Notice that round 12 is not a plain knit round.
1 M.z. rounds: 23, 25, 29, 71.
At the end of plain round 22 (24, 28, 70), remove marker, knit one stitch, replace marker, then start R. 23 (25, 29, 71).

This pattern is different from the pattern called Narzisse in Kunststricken: Große und kleine Decken.

Narzisse means narcissus.
