Nectar is just like flowers, knitting it will bring you joy! I created this shawl to reflect the feeling of calmness and admiration of simple beauty. This triangular shawl features a garter stitch and a floral lace. It is finished off with a twisted ribbing border and the stitches are bound off with picots. To knit the shawl you need two skeins of any fingering weight yarn. Feel free to play with different shades of the same color, fade sets, or gradient to knit your own Nectar. To emphasize the beauty of the delicate floral lace I recommend using solid, semi solid colors or subtly speckled colorways. The sample is shown in Lempi by Aara yarn.

Materials
• Yarn: 2 skeins of Aara Lempi (400 yds/ 366 m in 100 grams), approx. 880 yds/ 732 m of fingering weight yarn that knits up to the gauge. The sample was made using Lempi in the Ilta colorway.
• Suggested Needles: US 6 (4 mm), US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles
• Notions: 4 stitch markers, darning needle

Gauge: 20 stitches and 38 rows per 4” /10 cm after blocking with US 6 (4 mm)needles in Garter Stitch. Gauge is not crucial for this project but may affect finished measurements and yardage. If you are a loose knitter, you may need more yarn.

Skills involved: Knitting and purling, increases and decreases, yarn-overs.
