Saving paper - this is so simple you may not even need to print the pattern - or maybe just print page 2 - the page with the instructions- and read the rest on screen.

Sometimes when I’m making something that’s taking a while, I just need to FINISH something - that’s when I feel the “need for speed”.

Also handy for last-minute gifts (roughly 2-3 hours to make one).

Knitted as a strip (not bottom-up) because I prefer the drape of the stitch worked this way.

Three shapes - all with the same neat and tidy braid-effect edge (even when you’re knitting fast, you can still have nice details - doesn’t take any longer ☻) :

Tall single worn folded double (purple one) - approx. 130m (145 yds)
Wide single with a twist (shown in cream) - aprox. 200m (220 yds)
Double loop (green) - approx. 250m (275 yds).

MALABRIGO RASTA is a lovely yarn for this, but a bit thicker than the yarns I used for my samples, so you’ll probably only need about 21 stitches and possibly one size larger needle.

Many thanks to the testers:
