Nordland is a tam style hat, inspired by the colors and patterns of the garments of the Sami people of Northern Scandinavia.

Many people find they knit at a different gauge when going from St st to a stranded color pattern, so it’s important to swatch for both and adjust your needle sizes as necessary.

Hat as shown made with 5 colors; very small amounts of each accent color are needed. The had can also be made with only 3 or 4 colors, see notes at end of pattern for suggestions.
