This gorgeous cowl features a fun slanted diamond pattern that looks like steel flooring but not quite! Using simple stranded colourwork this cowl will brighten your wardrobe and keep you warm in chilly winter weather.

This pattern has both charted and written instructions.

Finished Measurements
There are two sizes of cowl to choose from. They are both the same width with one being taller than the other.

Smaller size: Approx. 30cm/11.75” wide by 20.5cm/8” high
Larger size: Approx. 30cm/11.75” wide by 27cm/10.5” high

Yarn requirements
Any 4ply yarn you can get gauge with. You will need approximately the following amounts of each colour:

Main Colour: Smaller size, 145m. Larger size, 190m.
Contrast Colour: Smaller size, 85m. Larger size, 120m.

Needles and notions
• 3mm 40cm/15” or 60cm/23” circular needle
• 3.5mm 40cm/ 15” or 60cm/23” circular needle
(or size needed to get gauge plus one two sizes smaller)
• One stitch marker
• Darning needle
• Scissors
