Rompers are the cutest summer outfits for baby girls, and they’re so easy to get on and off! With the Nova patterns becoming so popular, I knew I needed to create a matching baby romper to complete the set!

The Nova Baby Romper is worked from the top down to create the body of the romper. The skirt is added using the FLO only technique, and the pattern is a simple Cluster/V-stitch repeat. Picots grace the top and bottom of the outfit to give it a classic, finished look, and the butterfly motif adds that extra bit of charm. Best of all, this romper fastens at the bottom with 2 buttons to allow for easy removal in case of that inevitable blow-out.

The Nova Baby Romper is part of the Nova set of patterns designed in memory of Nova, an adorable baby who became a victim of child abuse. As such, this romper is designed in blue, the national color of child abuse awareness. As you’re browsing patterns online, take a moment to find out what YOU can do to raise awareness and help prevent child abuse.
