The Oaken Dreams shawl is worked from side to side. The beaded lace border is 32 rows long and is repeated throughout the shawl, as is the beaded textured pattern at the top edge (which reminds me of a string of acorns). The crescent shaping occurs within the center garter stitch section, which grows from one stitch to 25 stitches, then back again to one stitch.

Beads are placed using the crochet hook add-as-you-go method. Bead requirements: 370 size 6/0 seed beads.

This pattern is part of the Mezzaluna Collection.
