This design was sprung out of necessity. I wanted a basic cardigan, with clean lines and functional shape, focused on shoulder structure. The final product will provide you with comfort and a perennial design that will survive many seasons and outlive fast fashion.

Cardigan is worked flat from bottom up as one piece to the underarm. Fronts and back are divided at the armholes and worked separately. Shoulders are united with a three-needle bind off. Sleeves are worked in the round up to the cap, which is worked in rows, and seamed into armholes. Neckband stitches are picked up and worked last. Pockets are optional, worked as a patch and seamed to the fronts. Back and sleeves cable panels are offered with charts only.
