The “Ombre Parfaite” top is full of good news for spring and summer!
Easy, fun and fast to knit , gorgeous to wear, and you will have lots of style for little money as the cotton is cheap and you won’t need much yardage.
The peplum and the bust-line give plenty of room for rounded shapes and the tailored waistline with it’s vertical lines will flatter your figure. Worn with trousers, bermudas, skirts; this tank will suit any summer-outfit!
The knitting requires basic knitting skills, and would be suitable for an advanced beginner as well as an experienced one.
The top is knitted bottom-up and in-the-round to underarms. where work is split for left and right front and back, from here the seperate pieces are worked back and forth. All the decreases and increases are made towards the wedges in moss-stitch; 3 wedges at lower front, 3 wedges at lower back and 1 wedge under each arm. If you use the tree-needle bind-off for the shoulders the top is completely seamless.
As there is plenty of room for hips, and the rest of the tank is supposed to be tightfitting you don’t have to count for any positive ease.
