The Optical Triangle shawl is a perfect coverup for fall and winter, and fans out at the same time as it expands in width to create an interesting triangular shape. The shawl uses easy short rows (no wraps required) and very simple (ssk, yo) eyelets interspersed with striping.
One skein of Silk Dream and one skein of Merino Cloud are recommended. However, as in all our knitalongs, you can join with any Artyarns yarn, as long as you have 800 yards.

It’s the perfect excuse to try the delectable Silk Dream, 100% silk yarn with a hint of metallic. Use it in 2 colors (as shown in colors H5 and 1025). Or alternate it with Merino Cloud, our beautiful Merino/Cashmere blend as shown in this unique shawl.
