I wasn’t wearing this shrug and realized it didn’t flow well. I had cast off too loosely in the body, and the sleeves were too tight. So, using DK yarn in a complementary yarn, I

A) ARM: un-castoff sleeves, picked up43 sts, knit a round, then k2, p2 rib around (adding one stitch to have 44sts) using 4.5 mm needle, in the round

B) BODY: un-castoff, picking up the stitches using 5mm needle, knit one round, 5 st i-cord bind off using 6.5mm needle. Join the i-cord ends.

I think this might get more use, but in the summer.

INTRODUCTION:
This shrug is knit in the round until you have a large square.

Then the magic occurs. By folding and seaming you create a shrug , hence the apt name, Origami. Finally finish off with a nice border.

Update 6: Aug 10: I somehow removed the legend on an earlier version. I have added it back in. I have also added more guidance on the round numbers (3, 3b, 4, 4b, etc.)

Update 5: July 23: On row 32 corrected a CDD on the left side (was incorrectly a K2Tog previously)

Update 4: July 18 On rows 35, 44 ad 53 there were two YOs at the beginning and end of the rows. This was a mistake and has been corrected.

I updated the needle size. I believe I used 5mm. Based on my notes in the pattern
