My Sister-in-law loves infinity scarves (she calles them “Fall Essentials”), so I decided to make her one for Christmas.

I admired several seed-stitch cowl patterns, but in the end, I knew I wanted to go my own way. This cowl uses real US moss stitch (not seed stitch), also called Double Moss stitch, where there is a 4-row-repeat. It’s beautiful and stylish!

This snuggly, drapey cowl is easy and quick (seamless, hooray!) with stylish, warm results anybody would love. The original measures 8” wide and 26” in diameter (unblocked), and can be worn several different ways.

It should be easy to adjust the sizing to your own needs (use your gauge to calculate how many to cast on for your bespoke creation), just remember to use multiples of 4 for the stitch pattern.
