The idea for this cardigan came to me when I saw a gorgeous sweater from Oscar De La Renta’s latest collection, at a bargain price of $2,290, here - http://www.oscardelarenta.com/ready-to-wear/blouses-and-k...

I thought that I’d be able to quickly whip up a cardi using the same patterns, and make it available to everyone for fraction of the price. Here’s to you, Oscar!

This cardigan is worked bottom up, starting with a single band worked in Pattern 2;

The body itself is worked in three parts – the back is worked in Pattern 1 and 3, left and right fronts in Pattern 1;

The sleeve bands are worked in Pattern 2, sleeves are worked in Pattern 1;
The neck edge is worked in a modified Pattern 1, and the front edges worked in 2x2 rib.

Have fun and enjoy the process!
